Is there something you can specifically do in the next two weeks that would make your life better?
If you answered “yes” to those questions this is what you are saying, “Whether my life gets better or worse it is up to me.”
Now, I do not mean to be putting words in your mouth, because that is not sanitary, but that really is what you are saying.
Galatians 6:4-5 says, “Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.” (MESSAGE). Whether our life gets better or worse it is up to us as individuals. We can have help along the way, but ultimately it is up to us.
So, take control. Do not say, “I wish I could do this” or “I wish I could do that.” It is up to you. If you want to accomplish something get up and do it.
Where we decide to be in life is not because of the government, our upbringing, the economy, our parents, or who is in office. It is up to us. Grab the bull by the horns and take the action you need to take in order to move forward.

If you want your financial situation to improve, then improve it. If you want your relationships to improve, then improve them. If you want to experience more ENTHUSIASM in your life, then experience it.
As long as we blame other people or situations then we are giving up control of our life. That causes us to lose hope. Without hope…we are hopeless. What is the cure? “Take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.”
When we take responsibility for our own lives, then we have freedom. The freedom to make our own choices. The freedom to go as far as we want. The freedom…that comes from not being chained to other people’s actions, opinions, or circumstances. It is extremely freeing indeed.
Are you ready for the challenge? Are you ready to take back your freedom? Are you ready to “take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life”?
